Printable wall art makes it easy to create a polished gallery wall without waiting for shipping. This guide covers the three decisions that matter most: print size, paper, and frame spacing.
1. Choose a supported print size
Cyan Art files use a 4:5 aspect ratio and are supplied at 4800 × 6000 pixels. They print at 4 × 5, 8 × 10, 12 × 15, 16 × 20, or 20 × 25 inches without cropping. For bedrooms, offices, and reading corners, 8 × 10 or 12 × 15 inches works well. Above a sofa or console, 16 × 20 inches creates more presence.
2. Pick the right paper
Choose heavyweight matte or fine-art paper. Matte reduces glare and preserves the painted texture. Glossy paper may reflect window light. Ask the print shop for a proof when color matching matters.
3. Print at home or use a print shop
For small sizes, select the highest-quality setting, correct paper profile, and 100% scale. For larger artwork, upload the JPG to a reputable print service and choose the exact supported 4:5 size. Do not use fit-to-page if it crops the design.
4. Frame and space a set of three
Use matching frames and leave about 2–4 inches between them. Center the whole group over the furniture. The gallery should usually span about two-thirds of the furniture width.
5. Arrange a six-print gallery wall
Use a two-row, three-column grid. Keep gaps consistent, place the visual center near eye level, lay the frames on the floor first, and mark the wall with removable painter's tape before hanging.
